A Glimpse Of Summer

It is hard to believe that is already September and the summer is behind us.  Since I haven't written since July and it is already fall, I thought I would give a quick snapshot of what our summer looked like.  We spend the first half of the summer spending most of our mornings at MVP.   Allison had swim team practice in the am and then the pool opened at 10, so we would stay and swim until noon and then head home for lunch and naps. The afternoons were mostly spent outside playing!  Once swim team was over we spent a lot of time in Grand Haven at the beach.  The kids really loved swimming in the lake and playing with The Constant Crew.  Craig had the first week of August off and we spent some of it in GR and some of it in GH celebrating the Coast Guard Festival.  We spent time with family, friends, and just enjoyed the warmth and sunshine that only summer can bring in Michigan.
